Pastor set to act ‘a classic’

A FORMER actor studying for a PhD at Edinburgh ­University’s School of Divinity is to give a free live performance of Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory.

ER Haire Jr, an ordained pastor with a Masters degree from Yale in drama and worship, has previously performed the classic tale – about a boy, his elderly distant cousin and the joy of giving.

The performance is at New College, on The Mound, ­tomorrow at 7.30pm.
