Passengers stuck in Channel Tunnel

Nearly 100 rail passengers were evacuated from the Channel Tunnel yesterday after a fault with an overhead cable.

Eurotunnel said 97 people on the 1:24am service from Folkestone to Calais were stuck in their vehicles for two hours due to the fault ten minutes into their journey. They were then led to a service tunnel and shuttled back to Folkestone.
