Party in park starts festival

A PARTY in a West Lothian park will launch this year's Bathgate Music Festival.

The party at Kirkton Park in Bathgate on September 12 will feature the Boghall family fun day, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and live bands, including Look Left Again and The Amorettes, between 12.30pm and 5pm.

The music festival will run until September 18.

Skerryvore will also perform with West Lothian Schools Pipe Band at the Regal Community Theatre from 7pm.
