Parents 'distressed' over twins' deaths

The parents of premature newborn twins who died at a scandal-hit hospital, sparking an external investigation, today said they were "deeply upset and distressed" by the tragedy.

Alfie and Harry McQuillin died on 1 November, two days after their birth at Stafford Hospital, which has been heavily criticised for its standards of care and is the subject of a public inquiry.
