Pan of food catches fire

A 25-YEAR-OLD man was led to safety following a fire in his home.

The man was checked over at the scene of the fire on Huntley Street, Canonmills, by paramedics after a pan of food caught fire shortly after 6am yesterday.

Two firefighters extinguished the fire and vented the property.
