Palestinians face Everest

A RECORD-breaking mountaineer who lives in Edinburgh is to take 18 Palestinians up Mount Everest.

Mostafa Mahmoud, who became the first Jordanian to conquer the world's highest mountain, will take on the mission in April.

He wants more people of Arab origin to climb some of the world's tallest mountains after discovering hardly any took on the challenge. The King of Jordan is a personal supporter.
