Palace turns into a virtual history lesson

LINLITHGOW Palace is to be turned into a medieval 3D virtual world for schoolchildren across the country.

The historic attraction is to be made into an online history lesson for pupils, complete with 16th century decor and interacting period characters.

Children will access the world through Glow, the online education networking site for all primary schools across Scotland.

The Linlithgow Palace virtual world will be the second of its kind launched by Learning and Teaching Scotland.
