Pair offered to clear path then stole cash

TWO men stole a three-figure sum of money from a householder, after offering to clear her path of ice and snow.

They called at the woman's flat in Fleming Gardens East, Dundee, on Saturday and offered to clear her path for a charge. Later, one of the men returned and asked to use the toilet. He was allowed in while she spoke with the other man. Both then made off.
