Pair hunted after Fife woman robbed in own home
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 62-year-old woman was robbed at her home in Fife.The incident happened at around 8.45am on Tuesday in the Alexander Street area of Kirkcaldy.Jewellery and a money box containing a four-figure sum of cash was stolen.One attacker, a man, is described as being aged about 40, 5ft 10in and of skinny build. He has a local accent and was wearing a blue hooded top.The second attacker is shorter, skinny, spoke with a 'squeaky' voice and was wearing a cream baseball cap.Detective Sergeant Colin Potter said: 'This has been a distressing incident for the resident.'I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact the police.'Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
