Pair held over fatally injured man on stairs

A MAN and a woman have been arrested in connection with the death of a man found injured in a stairwell.

The 44-year-old man was discovered with serious head injuries in Cardonald, Glasgow, on Saturday morning.

He was taken by ambulance to the Southern General Hospital in the city but died on Sunday.
