Pair held after armed jewellery raid are released

Police have released without charge two people detained yesterday in connection with an armed robbery at an Edinburgh jewellery shop.

Police conifirmed that the search of a home in the Drylaw area was in connection with an ongoing investigation into the incident at Laing the Jewellers in Frederick Street on Monday.
