Pair charged over attempted murder in Dundee

A MAN and woman have been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Dundee at the weekend.

They were detained by officers investigating a a “serious incident” in the city’s Burnside Walk on Sunday night which resulted in a man being taken to Dundee’s Ninewells hospital with head injuries .

A force spokesman said: “Tayside Police can confirm that a 32 year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been charged in connection with an attempted murder at Burnside Walk, Dundee. yesterday. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear to Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow.”
