Pair arrested over shooting go free

Two men held over the fatal shooting of a father of four on his doorstep have been released pending further inquiries.

Anthony Wright, 35, died after being shot as he left his home in Shotts, Lanarkshire, to go to work on 9 June. Two men, aged 20 and 50, had been due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, but the case was not called.
