Paintball’s an indoor hit

IT is an activity synonymous with outdoor adventure.

But a new paintballing facility in Leith, which opened last week, has bucked that trend – by being indoors.

The man behind Urban Paintball, Robin Knox, said: “I had never played paintball before I had this idea, because it is so difficult to organise groups and transport to the remote outdoor sites.

“Leith Walk is perfect with eight bus routes passing by.

“It’s all about giving young people something to do, an option which doesn’t involve alcohol for an evening’s entertainment.

“Sports and games like this will help deal with our unhealthy relationship with alcohol.”
