Organ donor drive targets keep-fit fans

USERS of leisure facilities across the city are to be encouraged to sign up to the national organ donor register.

Edinburgh Leisure has joined forces with NHS Lothian to support the drive.

Alison Tierney, chairwoman of NHS Lothian's Organ Donation Committee, said: "We need to encourage more people to start thinking about organ donation."

Each venue will have promotional materials detailing how to add names to the register.
