It is disgraceful that the goal of the SNP, should they achieve a presence at Westminster in next week’s election, will not be to play a part in running the country for the benefit of all of the UK, but simply to make as much of a nuisance of themselves as possible and disrupt parliamentary procedure, to the detriment of all, as they blindly pursue their dream, against, incidentally, the wishes of the Scottish people.

It is disgraceful, but not surprising, given that in the two-year run-up to the referendum the governance of Scotland ran a poor second-place to the all-important independence campaign.

In any other employment, pursuing private interests on the company time would result in dismissal.

One interesting point emerged from your report revealing the secret intentions of the SNP hopefuls in the Midlothian candidate’s statement that “No” actually means “not yet”.

As he was presumably a Yes voter he is hypothesising from the heady realms of cloud-cuckoo land, because, speaking as a No voter, No really means No, and that’s the truth of it.
