Wot, no Salmond?

I NOTE that your correspondent Alexander McKay has been under attack by seagulls (Letters, 24 July).

What surprised me was that there was no mention of First Minister Alex Salmond.

In many years of watching the McKay epistles in your pages, I have observed that all evils seem to be attributable to Mr Salmond, anything from the Black Death to the tsunami in Japan would, in Mr McKay’s book, seem to be the responsibility of our First Minister, yet there has been no mention. Puzzling.
