Worrying deals

TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) is a deal being cooked up between the EU and USA. As it stands currently, it would allow big corporations to sue our government if we do anything (including privatisation) to harm their profits.

They have big legal teams and huge resources. Who will pay for the defence, and any penalties if their suit is successful? We, the taxpayers will, of course. Do we really want private healthcare? And subsidising wealthy shareholders?

Our MEPs will vote on TTIP next week in the European Parliament.
