Women’s work

There is a lot of work to be done in the battle for women’s equality (Letters, 8 March) but before we go forward we need to make sure we aren’t going backwards.

We have a responsibility to teach girls and young women to value their brains, skills and personalities, and to be cautious about the influence of “role models”, such as Katie Price, aka Jordan, whose success is based on their sexuality.
