Wind farm fallout

With the revelations from Sepa showing that water courses and drinking water have been contaminated by wind farm development in the past six years alone, one has to ask: “Where are the WWF and Friends of the Earth doing?”

If this were to do with fracking, these “charitable bodies” would be protesting from the roof tops about contamination and safety issues.

They cause mayhem before fracking has even started and spread scare stories about water contamination, but when it happens due to wind farm activity there is a startling absence of protest. When are these people going to realise that wind farms are not green? Is Sepa up to the job expected of it and are the public being given the protection they deserve?
