Wind fan
I WAS very happy to read Marion Paul’s opinion (Letters, 24 June), as I was beginning to think I was the only reader who appreciated wind turbines. I see them as part of man’s symbiotic relationship with nature, deriving energy from the wind with no degradation, exploitation or pollution (think of LS Lowry’s landscapes). Cows and sheep graze to the foot of the pylons and there is no heap of dead birds underneath, the birds are not so daft.
