When two sides...

My granny used to say that there are two sides to every argument. This is certainly true of the Letters pages in The Scotsman.

Some love wind turbines; others loath them. Some believe in man-made global warming whilst others mock them.

All religions are questioned by atheists. There are those who support immigration while other get hot under the collar.

Then there is the Yes camp against the No supporters.

The education system and the NHS are both criticised and praised.

Some arguments get quite heated.

In the spirit of reconciliation The Scotsman should invite a selection of these writers to “an evening of reconciliation” and serve alcoholic refreshments and some tasty bites.

On second thoughts. . .
