What about us?

How does the BBC expect to get away with the inaccurate tosh in The Seven Ages of Britain? We have now watched two parts and, apart from a brief passing reference to Iona, we have been treated to a selective history of England.

First of all, Britain did not exist at the time in question and, second, is it being inferred that nothing of historical note was taking place in any of the other independent countries that were part of these islands? I fear the trend of English chauvinism in the BBC is still alive and kicking.
