What a boorach

What a boorach over the “welcome to Bute” story (your report, 25 August).

For the 98.9 per cent of the population who do not speak Gaelic, that means “a sorry mess”.

So is the £26 million being spent on Gaelic signage.

I am sure a better use could have been found for this money. Perhaps some extra teachers?
