Weather woes
It HAS just been revealed that Met Office staff have been paid bonuses totalling £20.8 million in the past five years because they have got better at forecasting the weather.
Surely this is what they are paid to do for their salary.
I usually go online to the BBC site to see what weather is forecast for the days I am playing golf. On numerous occasions, the actual conditions in no way related to the previous day’s forecast.
I am now resorting to wet seaweed and watching cows for a more accurate weather forecast.
