Water waste

It is perhaps a useful distraction for the people of Scotland to see the royal christening given such a blast of publicity. The fanfare even includes the revelation that water from the River Jordan was being used to ensure the event does not get relegated to the trivial status it deserves.

Back in the real world more important matters need urgent attention in ailing Scotland, such as the crisis facing our one and only refinery, the threat to its workers, youth unemployment at shocking levels, and rising child poverty which, in 2013, is an utter disgrace.
