Waist not …

A recent Scottish health survey produced for the Scottish Government revealed that in 2010, 27 per cent of Scots aged 16 to 64 were obese, continuing the upward trend from just 17 per cent in 1995, and that around 65 per cent of adults measured were either overweight or obese. Maybe this report is not as alarming as some would suggest.

With fuel bills soaring and with many in these northern climes now unable to afford the cost of heating their homes, in noting the fatty insulation of the walrus and seal for example, maybe what we are actually witnessing is evolution at work, and a getting into shape in preparation for the oncoming ice age now being promised by so many pundits!
