VIP car park

GIVEN the state of repairs of our roads at this time of economic hardship, I note with interest that the-powers-that-be have now found sufficient funds to pay for the resurfacing of the civil servants’ car park at Victoria Quay in Edinburgh. Long overdue?

Well, the car park looked as if it had many years of life left in it. No doubt they are taking advantage of the public holiday with all users of the car park away. And probably well worth the added costs to the contractor for working the holiday too.
