Untrammelled

David Roche and family, who tried to visit Edinburgh on Sunday but had trouble with the 
traffic (Letters, 2 December), could have driven to Ingliston Park and Ride, and taken the tram to the city centre – £7.50 for a daily family ticket for two adults and up to three children.

This would have taken him to Princes Street, where he could then have used free buses around town, and back out to Ingliston. Simple!

And no queues on the M90/Barnton.
