Unreliable wind

Wind power generated in Scotland rose to record levels last month (your report, 1 April).

That may or may not be the case but I find the comment from Lang Banks of WWF Scotland to be rather strange.

He has called for more storage capacity to help on “days when the wind isn’t blowing so strongly”.

Perhaps he can enlighten us on what and where this storage is.
