Uncharitable act

Charities are having a difficult time just now in the middle of an economic downturn and the last thing they needed was an illogical and damaging move by Chancellor George Osborne to limit tax relief to £50,000 for charitable donations.

Surely there must be a common sense approach to this matter – which affects not only charities but also universities that rely on donations – that will force the government into U-turn on this matter.
