Uncertain future

It is interesting that Nicola Sturgeon is forming an austerity pact with other nationalist parties in the UK, with no mention of what her own policies would have inflicted upon Scotland, ie the SNP’s recent independence platform was all based on oil being priced at $113 a barrel.

Oil is now nearly half that, meaning that Scotland would have been facing austerity and economic woe – like other oil-dependent countries, eg Russia, Nigeria, Iran. In true SNP style, this has been airbrushed out of history!

Austerity will end in the UK; in an independent Scotland the future would have been uncertain.
