Types of lies
A summary of Stan Grodynski’s letter (29 May) would be: when SNP leaders tell lies or mislead, it is all right and justified and should be dismissed; when others do it, then a heinous crime has been committed. This attitude, I’m afraid, is the Achilles’ heel of Scottish Nationalism. This kind of thinking and close to blind leader worship and obedience is typical of Nationalism wherever it has flourished and is in many ways frightening.
