Turbine trouble

With reference to your article, “Record number of Scots working on renewables” (14 January), can I just ask why on earth 90 per cent of Britain’s electricity consumers currently subsidise Scottish wind energy jobs that are covering this beautiful land with unsightly giant wind turbines, which are injurious to health and wildlife, deter tourists and don’t save on carbon emissions 
anyway?
