Turbine trouble

Scottish Renewables appears happy about a poll showing 69 per cent of respondents are no less likely to visit Scotland because of wind farms (your report, 2 February).

I have previously written, way back in 2012, to The Scotsman following a similarly enthusiastic letter from Scottish Renewables about 80 per cent of potential tourists being unaffected, because that was down from more than 93 per cent in 2008.

I repeat the unanswered question I asked then – might disinclination to visit Scotland be accelerating with increasing numbers of wind turbines?
