I am pleased that my “ridiculous and ignorant letter” about women’s prisons annoyed Maggie Leonard (Letters, 29 January)
She actually proves my point that certain women do not want equality: they want preferential treatment. By introducing “male abuse” into this argument, it would appear that Maggie Leonard is one of the standard-bearers.
Do the crime, serve the time.
