Trident move
It is now becoming apparent that Scotland will exit the United Kingdom and, since nationalism is more a matter of the heart than the head, we in the UK should start preparing for this event.
The SNP want to destroy the defence of the UK by removing Trident from Scotland – no doubt Mr Putin is delighted with the SNP. An alternative location should now be researched so that the Trident submarine base can be closed in Scotland.
I suggest that the potential of Larne Harbour or Londonderry on Lough Swilly, where there was a great naval base in the Second World War, be now investigated for the future Trident base.
