Trawling for trolls

A MAN accused of sending offensive tweets to Alex Salmond has appeared in court (your report, 28 June).

I do not want to belittle the competence of Police Scotland in quickly finding an alleged perpetrator of heinous online abuse of the First Minister.

I cannot help wondering, however, if it is remiss of them to fail to track down as efficiently, and prosecute with such speed, vicious online abusers of No voters such as JK Rowling, Clare Lally and Sir Chris Hoy?
