IF CATHERINE Stihler MEP is sincere in her concern about "passengers carrying heavy luggage or people with reduced mobility" not being able to avoid the 1 airport charge (Letters 17 July), why did she not join those of us in your columns who advocated locating Edinburgh's bus station within the Waverley site, as any sensible integrated-transport policy would dictate, rather than half a mile away, uphill and often in wet windy conditions?
