Toff drama

I glanced at a photograph on page 8 of Friday’s Scotsman and thought to myself: “Oh, here we go again – more Gosford Park coverage. Yawn.”

Then I looked at the words accompanying the picture to find out why this wretched programme was back in the news and realised my error.

It was not an illustration of the unaccountably popular toffs’ drama but a photograph of our very own Chancellor of the Exchequer, George
Osborne, at the Mansion House.

My mistake.
