The Trump touch

There are those who believe that Donald Trump succeeded in bullying Aberdeenshire Council and the Scottish Government into accepting the plans for his Menie development and is using the same tactics over his objection to an offshore wind farm.

It should come as no surprise therefore that he put unrealistic demands on Grampian Police with regards to the patrolling of his complex. It would seem he wished the bobbies to adopt similar procedures to those of his homeland NYPD.

Many who saw the multi award-winning film You’ve Been Trumped could be forgiven for thinking Mr Trump had succeeded in his wish when they witnessed the arrest of filmmakers Richard Phinney and Anthony Baxter.
