The same old Tory

THE NEW Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson clearly fails to understand the need for radical change within her party given that she may have been first past the post but garnered only 55 per cent of her memberships support in the recent leadership election.

Her first act as leader was to pop down to visit David Cameron for a bit of a photo shoot. We, the floating voter, see this as an act of “a bit more of the same” rather than a well overdue overhaul of a party that north of the Border is facing extinction unless it gets its act together and reforms.

No doubt Eck will give her a hard time in Holyrood as a relative novice in an arena that generally “eats them up and spits them oot” regularly.
