Taking responsibility

I am sure the majority of your readers are in agreement with the views expressed by Alan Smith (Letters, 4 April) that those individuals behind the strategies of deceit, and not just the companies, should be fined.

This should include staff at all levels, from top to bottom, and should apply to all areas in both the private and public sectors. They should be responsible for their actions and pay the price for their wrongdoing. Why should the public continue to pay for the greed and bad practise of others?
