Sweet revenge

I have listened to the many reasons and excuses why Labour were almost wiped out in Scotland and had a very poor showing in England.

Pundits and others could not see it coming. If they had listened on the “doorsteps” they would have discovered that the public did not forget the state of the country’s economy left by Labour five years ago. It was not until after the election last time that the true extent of the overspending and borrowing became apparent.

The public waited five years for revenge, and it was sweet.
