Superb stitching

Tim Flinn, writing (Letters, 5 January) about his gift of a calendar of the Great Scottish Tapestry, is sad to see no reference to our ancestral megaliths and stone circles.

If he refers to Panel 7 he will find it is entitled “The First Farmers Build Their Monuments c3,000 BC”. It depicts Maes Howe, Skara Brae, The Ring of Brodgar and the Great Hall of Balbridie.
