CRAIG Thomson of Adam Smith College states that funds from the Earlseat wind farm will pay for at least 125 energy-related apprenticeships (Platform, 23 August). Could he confirm that this “farm” could and would finance these worthy apprenticeships without the large subsidies paid by all of us through our taxes and fuel levies?
