Strong brew

It just goes to show how powerful the “Jenners Tearoom Brigade” could be with regard to the Scottish Art Collection beetling across the M8 to Glasgow (Features, 26 November).

I really don’t mind being described as a member of the JTB because, hey, we won! We can now look forward to perusing at our leisure all the fine specimens of Scottish Art in the wonderful capital. Pity the Jenners Tearoom Brigade could not have been more effective with regard to the cancellation of the wonderful tram scheme.
