Strictly joking

Why do people have to take every little thing so seriously? Surely Alex Salmond was just making a joke about wanting to go on Strictly Come Dancing (your report, 13 February). And yet people (Webview, 14 February) have to rant about this not being dignified.

At least, I hope to God he was joking.
