First Nationalist ministers contribute £150,000 towards
T in the Park and now we learn (your report, 26 August) the SNP-run Perth & Kinross Council paid Peter Andre and his band £24,000 for 30 minutes’ work at a Christmas lights switch-on
ceremony.
It even took a Freedom of Information request to force the council to admit how much it paid. No-one wants to sound like Scrooge but surely Nicola Sturgeon’s much-vaunted anti-austerity party could find something better to spend our money on.
