Still a Yes
Joyce McMillan (Perspective, 31 October) refers to the bafflement of “those of us who accept the referendum result”.
This implies that there are others who do not accept the official result but who may feel that, while having to live with it, they do not believe it.
Whatever category they fall into, many people still wear Yes badges and express hope for the future.

Hide AdRecent polls suggest that at the 2015 UK parliament elections most of the MPs who were on the No side will be replaced by ones on the Yes side.
If so, these Scottish MPs may hold the balance of power to decide which party or coalition forms the next UK government.
The ancient Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times”, may still offer hope for Scotland.
